Making Personal AI Assistants Accessible to Everyone
We started OpenClaw Provider because running your own AI assistant should not require a team of infrastructure engineers. Our mission is to bring self-hosted AI within reach of every developer and every team.
Our Story
OpenClaw is one of the most capable open-source AI assistant platforms available, with over 150,000 GitHub stars and an active community of contributors around the world. It can connect to dozens of messaging platforms, execute tasks autonomously, browse the web, manage files, and integrate with virtually any API. The only problem? Setting it up properly on a production server is genuinely difficult.
Configuring a VPS, hardening security, setting up reverse proxies and SSL, wiring in message platform credentials, scheduling automatic updates, and monitoring uptime is a multi-hour project even for experienced engineers. For everyone else, it is a barrier that keeps powerful AI technology out of reach. We watched talented developers and small teams give up on self-hosting because the operational overhead consumed more time than the assistant itself saved.
OpenClaw Provider exists to solve that problem. We take care of the infrastructure layer so you can focus on what the AI assistant actually does for you. You still get a dedicated server with full root access. You still own every byte of your data. We simply handle the tedious, error-prone parts of running a production deployment: provisioning, security hardening, updates, monitoring, and SSL. The result is a self-hosted AI assistant that launches in minutes instead of hours, stays current without manual intervention, and comes with a support team if anything goes sideways.
What We Believe
These principles guide every product decision, every support interaction, and every line of code we ship.
Privacy by Architecture
We designed OpenClaw Provider so that every byte of your data — conversations, files, agent configurations — lives exclusively on hardware you control. Nothing is routed through our servers. You choose the geography, the provider, and the access policies.
Open Source First
OpenClaw Provider is built on OpenClaw, an MIT-licensed project maintained by a global community. We contribute upstream, report bugs publicly, and believe that critical AI infrastructure should be transparent and auditable by everyone.
Simplicity Over Complexity
Powerful technology should not require a PhD in DevOps to use. Every feature we build is measured against a single question: does this make the experience simpler for the person using it? If the answer is no, we go back to the drawing board.
Radical Honesty
Our pricing has no asterisks. Our comparison pages give credit where it is due. Our changelog is public and detailed. We would rather lose a sale with the truth than win one with fine print.
